Morning Sickness, has been rough. Unlike my pregnancy with Kingston, I currently gag at the site or smell of meat. With Kingston all I ate was chicken wings from Wings Over, spicy ones at that. These days, I wake up every morning struggling to find something to eat. Plain toast with butter usually works, but sometimes even after eating just a few bites of food later in the day, mid Zoom work meeting, I have to turn my video off and book it to the bathroom. Its happened a couple of times, but luckily work is understanding.
So what can I eat? This baby might be vegetarian, because I’ve been eating a whole lot of salad with croutons, feta cheese, and pico de gallo. Covered in lime juice. But there is one thing, that I feel like I have been eating EVERY DAY, that luckily does curb side pick up. Drum roll….
Panera Broccoli Cheddar Soup Bread Bowl …or just the soup with a french baguette.
This is my go-to, even on a hot summer day, I will eat it by the AC if I have to, but it settles my stomach like no other. Too bad it adds up… because it does add up.
Also let me add that the only meat that doesn’t trigger my nausea is the chicken they have at Panera in the Cesar salad. I believe its because it doesn’t have a strong flavor.
What is everyone else craving?? Any one else have a soup obsession?
Someone send me the recipe, because I need to learn how to make it at home.
