My nephew Julian’s 4th birthday was this past weekend. He had an awesome How To Train Your Dragon themed birthday. Like most moms, my sister lives for her children’s birthday parties. She has done Super Hero theme where I played Batman, Curious George where she played The Man in the Yellow Hat, Mario Kart where my son played Mario and the birthday boy Luigi, and our recent where her son played Hiccup. She plans months in advance by not only buying and making the decorations but also creating scenes. This year she created a draw bridge setting where she had a table all set up with Viking hats, swords, and dragons. She gets really into it. This was a Pinterest inspired setting she created, every year it is something new. She also created the party hats by taking regular party hats and adding pigtails with yellow and red yarn for the girls. They were absolutely adorable. I told her she should hurry up and open her own Etsy shop and create settings for birthday parties for a living. She is really talented and even has her degree in Art Education. I added some pictures of Julian’s birthday just to share the awesome family times. You can’t miss him, he is the one in the cool costume.
