How Easter Taught Me To Let Go

How Easter Taught Me To Let Go

This was Kingston’s second Easter. Last year I paid for the expensive packet of Easter pictures to be taken. Of course like any first time mom. You can tell we are the ones in line paying the 50 buck for one 11 by 18 picture that can easily be taken anywhere else. I learned my lesson after paying for Christmas and Easter photo packs. This Easter we went to the park and had our mini family photo shoot. It was nice that since our spring is looking more like fall the park was empty. We had it all to ourselves, and Kingston loved every minute of running around. I even dared taking him on the slide. I was more afraid of letting him go then he was. He is such an adventures little boy, trying to climb back up on the slide once he went down. I have to learn how to let go. Like any new mom, I am afraid he will fall or get hurt. I have to realize he has to fall and there will be booboos sometimes, but it’s the only way to let him be who he is, and the only way to learn.  Hope you ladies had a great Easter! Would love to hear about it.
